Letting ME
I believe we need to let ourselves: Heal, discover our authentic identity, and live as we are called — Free
I’m on a journey to figure out what’s authentically me and what isn’t. Which parts of me are shaped by my own nature, and which parts come from the trauma I’ve experienced? At some point, I stopped
letting me be free.
At 3 years old, in a small church located in Compton CA I gave my life to Jesus. In John 8:36 it says if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." As a child I experienced the freedom, as life happened I locked more and more of myself away for protection. The Blog, is a key that I spent the last few years digging up, and now am letting myself use it to let myself walk in the freedom that was given to me many years ago. It is never too late to let yourself be free.
I am a daughter, sister, mother, (Josiah, Aniyah, Robert Jr. plus Jocelyn, Eli, Jazmine, Trenton, Karson, Gracie Destiney, Henry, Dj and godchildren) wife (Rev. Robert A. Morton Sr.), friend, and neighbor. I hold a BS and MS in Psychology and pursuing a PhD,
I aspire to write, create, inspire, and let love guide all that I do,
and help others be free.
The "Let Me Theory" is a transformative approach to self-empowerment, personal growth, and spiritual alignment. Rooted in the belief that true joy and purpose come from embracing your authentic self, this theory empowers individuals to renew their minds, release fears, and break free from societal and self-imposed barriers. Built on the scripture, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:5), the "Let Me Theory" emphasizes the importance of renewing your mind to align with your divine purpose. By granting yourself permission to explore, fail, celebrate, and grow. It’s about setting yourself free to become who you have been called to be—living unapologetically.
